Jennifer L. Yount is the sole proprietor of a Leadership and Life Coaching and Leadership Training and Consulting business, Tee Shot to Life. She is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation and a Professional Co-Active Coach through the Coaches Training Institute with over 600 coaching hours. She is also a certified facilitator of numerous FranklinCovey programs, including The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People®, Leadership: Great Leaders. Great Teams. Great Result ®, and Leading at the Speed of Trust®. Before beginning her own businesses, she spent five years as the Director of Leadership Development at The California Maritime Academy, a campus of California State University and three years as an Assistant Professor in the Marine Transportation Department.

She also has a successful background in strategic planning and achieving results with over 20 years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard, culminating in her assignment as ship’s Commanding Officer. She also spent over four years in human resource management and policy positions at the Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Additionally, she spent almost eight years in operational resource management, oversight, planning, and coordination positions in response to significant national and international issues. Not only has she commanded a military ship at sea, she also holds a current license of Master of Steam or Motor Vessels of Any Gross Tons Upon Oceans.

She was one of the first women to graduate from a military academy after graduating from the United States Coast Guard Academy, New London, Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science. She then earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Barry University of Miami, Florida.

Lily is a fun and energetic Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and founder of YourYouness, Inc. Lily supports her clients on how to connect with their holistic and integrative needs, making choices and decisions to live a better whole life living—mind, body, and spirit. Her specialties include, life and career coaching, communication and networking skills, work-life balance, overcoming life burnout and transformation, and Feng Shui coaching. She is passionate about people, a positive thinker, speaker and motivator, inspiring her clients with her life philosophy.

In working with Lily, clients learn to open and broaden their horizon about life, who they are, breaking through mental barriers, and successfully transition to their new life path. Their experiences with her have motivated them to be powerful, responsible agents of change. Clients learn to create the impact they want for themselves, better integrate the roles of their whole life, and build a stronger relationship to the world.

Ms. Ford was both a mentor and mentor coordinator for the First Year teacher program through Santa Fe Community College. Her duties included mentoring and grading first year teachers in their teaching assignment, developing support material for continuing education and creating a positive and supportive environment for first teachers.

She is on the empowerment expert team for City Girls Group, Inc., a San Francisco based organization designed to bring professional women together into a fun, supportive, empowered community of like-minded women. She serves as a business and life coach, delivering workshops and 1:1 coaching for the members.

Lily is also an active community leader of San Francisco SAFE, Inc. a non-profit organization guiding residents, business owners, and community members to improve the quality of SF neighborhoods. She educates community members to work together to improve public safety, connecting and empowering residents and business owners to effectively advocate their vision of a safe vibrant community.

She brings with her 9+ years of corporate marketing, training, and human resource experience for companies including Salesforce.com, Oracle Corporation, Arthur Andersen LLP, and Compaq Computer. Lily holds a Bachelors degree in Regional and Community Development from UC Davis, and earned her certification in Project Management from UC Berkeley Extension. She received her ICF accreditation as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach from The Coaches Training Institute.

Born in Hong Kong and immigrated to the U.S. in the early 1980’s, Lily is an inspired learner who enjoys Bikram yoga, dancing, scuba diving, playing guitar, cooking, learning how to surf and snowboard.
